have you ever had a friend you just wanted t please.
you did everything, t the point of irritating everyone, including yourself, just t get some gesture of acknowledgment from that friend.
some days it worked,
some days it didn't.
so you put your head out on the line, opened up your arms and wore your heart on your sleeve.
when she beckoned, you jumped.
when she needed help, you offered.
never did you ask for anything back in return.
and today, you woke up.
and you realised that you've been taken for a ride.
she'll never treat you like one of her better friends.
she's taken that friendship and what that came w it for granted.
and it hurts.
fucking hurts.
to see how you're just a piece of shit.
sometimes you try so fucking hard to be the best you could be.
and the irony is, the person you present, isn't a fucking shit the real you.
but hey guess what, everyone seems t love the 'real' you more.
so you're torn in between two worlds.
and it gets fucking screwed up all the time.
friendships are built on air.
i see plenty blown away by the wind.
the ones that still remain,
i clutch desperately at the wisps of their threads.
it's fucked up to realise how fucking lonely you really are.

guess how it's funny when the final piece in the puzzle falls into place.have you ever had a friend you just wanted t please.
